Chelsea Redmond
Associate Lawyer
Chelsea Redmond has been practicing family law in Windsor since being called to the bar in 2019. She completed her articles under Justice M. Frank, gaining hands on experience in both Family Law and Child Protection.
Chelsea obtained her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Dalhousie in 2012, after which she spent a few years working in post-secondary education, specifically managing residence buildings. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Chelsea worked as a research assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Court while at U Windsor.
In practice, Chelsea has experience handling Family Law matters in both the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice, including Child Protection and trial experience. She has also experience with alternative dispute resolution and mediation, and endeavors to help clients resolve their separations outside of the Courts. Chelsea is passionate about working with victims of domestic violence in her practice and aims to take a sensitive and knowledgeable approach to their needs.
Chelsea currently holds positions on the Ontario Court of Justice Bench Bar committee as well as the Superior Court of Justice Bench Bar committee. She sits on the board of the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation.
Outside of the law, Chelsea can usually be found with her dog Wrigley, caring for her excessive number of plants, or going for a run. She also claims to make the best home-made tiramisu.
